First Impression....

Many of us think that when we are in the society, what people notice about us is our appearance. Well that's true but only to an extent. This is called the first impression. Usually first impression is the turning point and most of the time it becomes so vital that what people only remember about you will be your first impression. Even love at first sight phrase implies this idea to a certain aspect because to fall in love at first sight you sure do have to give a good first impression. First impression is tightly connected with your personality. And your personality is bound to other factors such as your posture, cleanliness, fashion, social behaviour, beauty, facial expressions and your linguistic abilities. Here we are going to analyze each and every point and methods to improve personality step wise.

Correct posture 
Correct posture includes the correct way of walking, sitting, sleeping and weight lifting basically. It takes years of practice to get into a posture (what we involuntarily do since birth). If we have been practicing an incorrect posture please note that it will not be impossible to change it but you have to watch your postures until they sharp enough. Incorrect posture gives a certain unbalanced look to your appearance and they are not at all healthy to your spinal cord.
Walking: 
The correct way of walking is not cat walk people. Cat walk is meant for models but what we have to practice is the correct walking method that relaxes and equally divides the body pressure between our heels when we are walking. Place your two hands on either side of your body when your hands are free and let them swing to the natural rhythm. If you draw a line and you should be able to place your feet either side of the line while walking not on the line in correct walking method.
Sitting: 
Correct sitting method is what we call relaxing your spinal cord. Your spinal cord is the main transporter of impulses, senses of your body. Therefore it should be able to function in a free way. Always keep in mind that it should be kept erect when sitting and do not bend or curve it.
Sleeping: 
I know you won't get to give anybody your first impression when you are sleeping but correct sleeping methods means you have a healthy spinal cord and sound sleep which will keep you active. When sleeping your tummy up or down or sideways, keep your spinal cord, head and legs on the same plane. For this you have to choose pillows which are not that stiff and they should be able to support your neck.
Weight lifting: 
This may be the most important of all. Many slip disc cases are due to incorrect weight lifting posture. Make sure when you lift and object, use your both hands if it is heavy and bend from your knees not from your spinal cord.
Correct posture helps you stand straight and walk nicely and remember to push your shoulders back and chest forward always. Mind you please do not stiffen yourself it will only make you feel uncomfortable. 

Cleanliness
Cleanliness is godliness and so it is true. Imagine yourself standing next to a very dirty person who haven't brushed teeth, combed hair with dirty clothes. You don't want that person to be you, do you??? Cleanliness is something that comes from your primary surrounding. That means your home. Think of yourself when you are at home. It is important you have to be clean both when you are going out as well as when you are sitting near your tv having dinner. Keep your noticeable aspects clean first like toe nails, finger nails, ears, nose, hair and teeth. Keep your face dirt free and I know this is sometimes hard for people who got oily skin. Try keeping wet tissues with you and this way you can reduce acne or pimples too. If you wear makeup, make sure you have the right amount of it not too much. Brush your teeth twice a day, give your feet a little spa therapy once in a while and keep your nails short and dirt free. 

Fashion
Fashion is what we wear. Whether it is office or your friend's wedding, make sure you wear in appropriate ways. Choose clothing that makes you feel comfortable and that makes you expressed. Obesity has become a major problem today but why make it a problem? Try simple answers like wearing black and stripped clothing. They will make you look few inches skinny. Skinny people can wear clothes that cover up their bones. Wear accessories matched with your clothes and shoes that will make you comfy. If you intend to wear one cloth for more than seven hours, choose fitting clothing that will help sweating and keep you cool inside+ open shoes that won't crush your toes and cut them. 



Social Behaviour

No matter how nicely you wear, you always have to mind your behaviour. Male or female, always greet people with a smile. It does not have an economical value but should it come from the heart. Smile reveals many things about oneself. A hearteous smile is warm and welcoming. If you do not show your teeth that is official yet satisfactory. Try to converse with the same smile you had from the beginning. It will give a good start. 


Linguistic abilities
When talking do not throw your arms around it does not look graceful. But if you are explaining something use your forearms and wrist movements. When you are introducing to someone, use their name several times because name can get you close to the person you are conversing with. It implies that you do have a respect to the other one. Always let the other one speak if you see he/ she is willing to say something. Wait for your turn and choose your words carefully. Do not talk loud at the beginning but gradually increase your voice. Be fun to be around and depart giving hopes for another meeting. If you have to sit for a meal or a quick coffee, or if your are invited to such, accept them when necessary and avoid them if you feel uncomfortable politely. Do not talk when your mouth is full. Take time and think what you are doing when conversing and having food with a stranger. 

Facial expressions
Some people talk by looking directly into eyes and some by looking at your mouth, Either ways it is helpful always that you learn how to control your facial expressions. Your face is the reflection of your heart so don't give away everything the other one doesn't have to know. Sometimes it is hard to avoid expressions like gasping, laughing and anger. Try looking away when you feel uncomfortable or change the subject. Don’t go laughing loud with a complete stranger because it is not nice. Smile but keep your distance and once you are through behave like friends.
