Lose Weight In A Healthy Way.....

There is no doubt in the saying that "Health is wealth" because, if not for health we won't be able to continue our day today chores, work and activities to earn money and live. On a previous note, we discussed about the weight "Your weight, Your health", a significant fact that should be maintained in a healthier manner for a healthier life. 
Your weight has a direct association with many of the diseases you are prone to get. Some of the well known ones are,

  • Blood Pressure
  • Heart Failure
  • Diabetes
  • Cholesterol
  • Cancer
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
  • Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease
  • Hernia
  • Liver problems
  • Dementia
  • Renal failure
  • Depression
  • Varicose veins 
What mentioned above are only a few compared to direct and indirect associations over weight could have to other little known and major diseases.

Why A Healthy Weight Though? What's The Point?

The point? Well not only one but there are hundreds of points. Rather saying about them in sentence wise, I thought of listing them so you could get the point straight away.
  • Over all improvement in performance
  • Less likeliness to get the above mentioned diseases
  • Sharp vision even when you age
  • Great body shape
  • A great boost to your personality and self confidence
  • Healthy legs, thighs, toes and feet at old age
  • Reduced wrinkles and stretch marks
  • Healthy bones with active muscles
  • Increase in brain activity
  • Long life
  • Improved inhaling and exhaling
  • reduced sleeping disorders
When you have a weight appropriate for your height, your body muscles, cells, tissues can perform with a maximum level without getting fatigued. This improves the activity of the organs of your body. Organ systems get the relative work done efficiently and your body is free to perform at its best. Remember, it all starts with your weight. Now let's focus on getting and maintaining a healthy weight. It's hard, I know but not impossible.

When I say dream weight, I'm not talking about size zero. It's your choice to become the size you want but let's just focus on getting a healthy weight first. (See article Your weight, Your health to determine whether you are in the healthy weight range or not)

Step 1- Ask the Doc
First things first. Go to a doc and check up with him whether you are overweight or not. This is necessary because, some people can still look overweight but they are in the normal range of BMI. 

Step 2- Don't feel down, it's going to be okay
Just like acne, overweight people have issues with their emotions. All the negative thinking can only lead to more trouble friends. Believe me, being fatty does not mean ugly because being skinny is not beautiful either. All we are trying to do is become healthy. So embrace yourselves and don't let the people around you poke with overweight questions and degrade your feelings.

Step 3- What you eat is what you store 
Simple things make big differences. Start making small differences with your diet. Add more veges and fruits to your daily meal. Take more green leaves. Change your cooking methods. Eat more salads than cooked versions. Drink more juices and water than soft drinks. Reduce fat and salt. If you still find it's hard, consult a dietitian and derive a diet plan according to your choices.
Don't skip the three main meals but avoid unnecessary meals in between. 

Step 4- Burn your extra fat 

Rather than the hasty work outs, try to burn your fats in a natural ways while working out. For example you can always afford to walk for the grocery store or park everyday. 20 minutes of brisk walking would do. Use stairs instead of the lift or the elevator. Work in your garden like pruning hedges, grass etc rather than letting someone else do them. All the same, make some time to work out. Go to a gym if you prefer, do a sport like swimming, cycling, badminton or dancing.

Step 5- Water Therapy
This one is highly effective. When you get up in the morning drink a glass of water before your bed tea. This power up your body cells for an active day. Drink a glass of water 30 minutes before each main meal. This helps in improving the efficiency of digestion. Drink a glass of water before bed time. This enables blood circulation during sleep.

Other than these, find yourself a hobby, a leisure time activity to engage in. That will relax your mind. Relaxing your mind is essential because being stress free helps your body activity to flow in a more efficient way. When you are depressed, your body has to cope up with that and work more.

As you can see, there are several to choose from. If you are considering buying a weight loss patch product, do your homework and learn what the active ingredients are and how they work.
