Original Pizza Recipe......

Believe me when I say that this recipe is the best one so far. Although I tried many recipes for the correct pizza dough all I ever got was something hard and rarely eatable. Today's recipe has a combination of few recipes but the final product is just awesome. The pizza dough I have given here is a gift from my beloved teacher. The tomato sauce is from a recipe book and was highly recommended by my sister. I hope you like the recipe as much as I love it and the best part is it does not take that much time to make either.

Makes 5-6 regular size pizzas. 
Ingredients
For the pizza dough
1kg Flour
6 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Baking Powder
6 teaspoons of Dry Yeast
salt to taste
lukewarm water to mix
For the tomato sauce
6 large well ripen tomatoes
1 tbsp chopped Garlic
1 tbsp chopped Onion
a pinch of salt and pepper
For preparation
250g grated Mozzarella Cheese
Cream Cheese
2 Onions cut into large squares
100g of Bell Peppers of two colours
100g of Button Mushroom
100g of Chicken precooked
50g of Pineapple cut into squares
1 teaspoon of Oregano

Method

  1. First of all to make the dough mix all the ingredients using lukewarm water and fold well. Cover it with a polythene cover with wet inside for about 15 minutes.
  2. To make the tomato sauce, boil some water and blanch the tomatoes for about 5 minutes until the peel cracks. Take then out and put into cold water straight away. Then peel off, remove seeds and cut into small squares.
  3. Then heat a pan add some butter and then add the chopped Onion and Garlic. Let them turn into a rosy colour and then add the tomatoes. Mix then well until you get a sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Once the dough is fluffy and risen, separate them into five balls. Roll them into 1/2 inch thickness and cut into the size of your dish you wish to bake. Then heat a flat pan and slightly burn the two sides of the pizza bread for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Then place the pizza bread on the dish you wish to bake and apply a layer of cream cheese. The pour over the tomato sauce and on top of it arrange the vegetables and Chicken. Sprinkle some Oregano. Then spread Mozzarella cheese all over the pizza. Bake in 200 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes until the cheese melt.
