Colours say it all........... to feel home sweet home..!!!!!!!!!

Psychiatrists say by applying appropriate colours in homes, we can enhance the attraction of the building it self and also that it will have a greater effect on the mental and physical activity of the inhabitants. But our lack of knowledge on its effect restrain us from making the best use of it.
Some time our bed room needs a bit of a cozy and a comfortable touch and also a bit of romantic touch too.Nevertheless our study room should motivate us on more and more studies ( not paint can be that effective for me personally on STUDYING (; ). Even the colour of our hall has a greater effect on our temper during conversations but we barely notice that.

Lets get to know what feelings and expressions do colours elaborate...and also our choice on those colours may secretly reveal our personal way of behavior or rather I'd say our personality.
YELLOW
Though yellow  is a very popular colour in wall painting it is a well known fact that its a hard choice for the painter. To get the exact colour expected most of the time we have to do a few coatings .BUT it is all worth it.Yellow gives the room a chance to highlight its furniture and all the artifacts kept there. Also it is an awakening colour.Which makes you feel active n fully energetic! A must say is yellow always make you feel fully equipped and ready.

ORANGE
The colour of internal energy. but not that every shade of orange is very appealing to the eye but few of those appealing shades, it says it makes you feel homey .But this is a colour which make you feel a bit hot inside.Mainly suitable to open air spaces and on walls where the direct sunlight falls. So that the sunlight could bring out the appealing shade out.

BLUE
Blue colour spreads in a vast varity thus we will have to go on talking for days bu majorly it has few common effects.
Blue calls to mind feelings of calmness or serenity. It is often described as peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly. BUT  Blue can also create feelings of sadness or aloofness too.
Blue colour is also said to have healing effects n a create a soothing mental status. Blue is often used to decorate offices because research has shown that people are more productive in blue rooms

When talking about the mostly used shade of blue when decorating homes TURQUOISE BLUE
It is said to create a fantasied dreamy effect or a completely lively feeling depending on the way how you use the colour.turquoise or the sky blue can give a ancient and hestoric touch to the room as well ,Also the use of it on a wall that has direct sunlight can make the room look spacious at the same time.

WHITE
White...is not a mere absence of colour; it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red, as definite as black...God paints in many colours; but He never paints so gorgeously, I had almost said so gaudily, as when He paints in white. - G. K. Chesterton

As white is the symbol of purity of innocence it can always give the space a harmonic feeling specially shrine rooms painted in white  can make the soul feel more relaxed during its prayers and also idea for meditation rooms. Brightness of white can create a sense of space or add highlights.
White is also described as cold, bland, and sterile. Rooms painted completely white can seem spacious, but empty and unfriendly. Hospitals and hospital workers use white to create a sense of sterility.

PINK
Traditional colour of women.
Pink is essentially a light red and is usually associated with love and romance.Pink is thought to have a calming effect.
One shade known as "drunk-tank pink" is sometimes used in prisons to calm inmates. Sports teams sometimes paint the opposing teams locker room pink to keep the players passive and less energetic.
While pink's calming effect has been demonstrated, researchers of color psychology have found that this effect only occurs during the initial exposure to the color. When used in prisons, inmates often become even more agitated once they become accustomed to the color.
Most importantly pink is a multi effecting colour it can generate a relaxing and a peaceful sense together with feeling of activeness and freshness. Many mix up the effect of red colour with the pink i d seen many think that pink is a colour with can arouse feelings of love and passion in relationships but NO.pink shades always make you feel more comfortable and caring.

GREEN
Green, which is Nature's colour, is restful, soothing, cheerful, and health-giving. - Paul Brunton

Green also represents tranquility, good luck, health, and jealousy.
Researchers have also found that green can improve reading ability and the ability to keep the concentration focused for a longer time periods Some students may find that laying a transparent sheet of green paper over reading material increases reading speed and comprehension.
Green is often used in decorating for its calming effect. For example, guests waiting to appear on television programs often wait in a “green room” to relax.Green is thought to relieve stress and help heal. Those who have a green work environment experience fewer stomachaches.
Also green is the colour of fertility ,new birth and also development.
Darker green shades on walls of indoor gardens accompanied with aquatic structures create a very relaxed and fresh sense of mind while creating a wet forestry scenery which is very appealing at the end of a hectic day at work.

RED
A colour which must be used very carefully and correctly. As it has a quite vast range of effects which are associated with completely opposite feelings of humans.
Red is a bright, warm color that evokes strong emotions.
Red is associated with love, warmth, and comfort.
Red is also considered an intense, or even angry, color that creates feelings of excitement or intensity
The effect of warm, inviting and erudite of the red colour makes it suitable to the bedrooms.
But the use of Red on open spaces which gets a lot of sunlight will be non advisable. the frustration and restlessness due to heat on day time can be worsen by the use of red colour on such walls.

PURPLE

Purple is the symbol of royalty and wealth.Purple also represents wisdom and spirituality.Purple does not often occur in nature, it can sometimes appear exotic or artificial.
Thus purple can create sense of hidden mysteriousness. But also purple is also known as the ambitious colour in psychology.
Lighter shades of purple create spacious and a musical feeling also lighter shades of purple are very relaxing to the eye.
