“Either I’m mad or she is going insane” Cher forgot that we are still listening to Ms. Cleanor. “Or maybe I have a hearing problem…” After a moment Cher muttered. Apparently many girls thought likewise.
“Your powers are not only to benefit those around you but to vanquish evil and fight it.” Ms. Cleanor’s voice echoed ignoring the horrified faces of others present.
“Evil has many forms. There are evil people around you and your society. There’s evil inside everyone. At some point of life only, you’ll realize that particular part within you. It’s not easy to become a Mind’s Eye unless you defeat the darkness within you. Mark my words girls, to harness your potentials there will be thousands of obstacles and most of those obstacles will be from your evil side. It’s our task to prepare you for that.
Mind’s Eyes in the past have divulged certain methods to defeat your darkness as well as prepare yourselves against your enemies. The most effective ones are game plans derived to train your minds’ powers to battle. They are like games but planned and executed inside your mind.”
Absorbed by this new piece of information, everyone turned to face the stage where a transparent screen kicked into life showing what looked like a flat ground, more like a meadow but with less grass. There were two groups of tiny people on either side formed into what looked like two triangles. Ms. Cleanor spoke “Upper view, Squad 1” and the screen moved to show the overhead view of one triangle.
“This is called a Telesys. A Telesys allows the multi dimensional motion facility projected from a mind. In simpler words, we could see your thoughts once connected with a Telesys. This Telesys shows the prime format of a game plan. These plans are called Mind Maps in official. Look closer.” And the image started to swirl and focus on each person.
“In a mind map, your delegation of Mind’s Eyes is called a squad. Same goes to the other side. Mind’s Eye squad is lead by Prior Demnar. After her, the triangle formation in triangular numbers is continued up to 21. On either sides of Prior Demnar are two Readers. They come in very handy as they can predict what the opponents are up to. Then there are the Nerve Blast, Pillusionist and Millusionist. They usually stand in the second line behind Prior Demnar. Then comes the two Fireflies, Rage and Aqua. Next line consists of Three Paladins, Sonar, and Arrow. Last line is formed by two Treks, two Starok, a Messenger and a Healer.
Well, that’s the basic plan. The position of the two readers hasn’t changed for 500 years so far. They have proven to be more useful in a Mind Map.” Ms. Cleanor cleared her throat and continued.
“So according to that, a Mind Map can change. We don’t get to know about the Map until the last minute when you are summoned to a battle. Therefore usually when a battle is called upon you, all the Mind’s Eyes get prepared for it. Once the cause for the battle is seen, the two squad members are determined. You’ll be able to see how Mind’s Eyes are selected for these once you start practicing for battles.”
“So basically, we are learning to fight this year?” Cher had a twist of smile on her face. A weird one. “Wait till I tell my brother, he won’t like it at all. He’s always afraid that I might one day kick his ass.”
