Icing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you feel the happiness when the cake you made is perfect with all the right amount of taste and softness inside. No perfect cake like that can go without a perfectly matching icing! Want to decorate it with icing but don't know how to??? Or that you already know but afraid that you might go wrong???? Well it's time to come over your fears and unknowns because with these simple icing recipes, you will be experts in icing!! It's easy, it's fun and it tastes good too. Among the most wanted types of icings, we selected these which are used almost on a daily basis. Try them at home next time you bake a cake. And not only cake, they taste good with donuts, puddings and biscuits too.

Butter Icing Recipe

Cup cakes topped with butter icing

Ingredients
250g unsalted butter
1 tea spoon of Vanilla
450- 500g Icing sugar
1/4 cup milk or whipping cream


Method
In a large bowl beat the butter and vanilla until fluffy. Then add icing sugar and beat till smooth and fluffy. Add milk and beat until a fine mixture is obtained. For chocolate butter icing add 50g of coco powder.

Royal Icing Recipe

This is how royal icing looks like!

Royal icing flowers
Ingredients
1 egg white
250g Icing sugar
2,3 drops of lime juice

Method
In a bowl beat the egg white until it's thick and snowy. Add the lime juice and icing sugar and beat again until you get a firm mixture that will stay in place.

Fondant Icing Recipe

Fondant icing that does not stick

Ingredients
2 tbsp Gelatin
3/4 cups of hot water
A cake covered with fondant
2 tbsp liquid Glucose
2 tea spoons of Glycerin
Icing sugar as much as required

Method
Mix Gelatin in hot water and gradually add liquid Glucose and Glycerin to it and mix. Mix icing sugar until you get a mixture that will not stick to your hand.
